On behalf of the music ministry at First Baptist, we are so glad that you are taking a look at our page. Our church supports a full music ministry. We have a place for everyone from the age of four-years-old on up. Whether you sing, ring handbells or play an instrument (everything from guitar to an orchestral one), there’s an opportunity for you to use your talents here. PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN
There are three choirs for children, from Pre-K to 5th grade.
At an age appropriate level, each group learns: basic musical concepts through a variety of creative activities, about their singing voice, songs for use in worship and special occasions and how God works in their lives. We are as much about each child’s spiritual development as we are about music.
Our choirs meet on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00.
Prelude Choir: 3-5 year olds, Room 208
Music Makers: 1st – 3rd grades, Room 211
Young Musicians: 4th – 5th grades, Room 209
Mission Friends: 3 – 5 year olds, Room 210

Our Adult Choir is open to anyone eighteen and older.
The choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:30 and sings every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. The music encompasses a variety of styles from gospel to traditional to contemporary
No prior musical experience is needed. If you love to sing, we have a place for you!
