ADULTS
What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? At First Baptist Church, we see discipleship as a lifelong journey toward becoming more like Jesus. It is a path that cannot be walked alone; it must be traveled with companions on all sides.
FBC is filled with friends and neighbors who are taking seriously the call of Jesus in their lives. We are a people of joy. We are a people of hope. Most of all, we are a people who take seriously the command of Jesus to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. To follow this central teaching of Jesus is to get at the heart of what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
The church is filled with opportunity to plug opportunities in on Sunday morning, Wednesday evening, and many other times throughout the week. We invite you to come and join us as we seek to follow the way of Jesus.

Adults with Seniority – Purpose
Our purpose as Senior Adults is to serve Christ and to live life to its fullest as Christians. We strive to minister to each other and to those in our community. We find that we can serve, witness, and reach the lost for Christ as we go about our living. In our activities, fellowship times, and mission endeavors, we keep Jesus Christ as the reason for our joy and purpose.
The Senior Adult Ministry involves persons who are 60 years of age and older. It is an active and vital part of the First Baptist Church family. Many of our Senior Adults can be found working and holding leadership roles in the various ministries of FBC. Our Senior Adult program, Happy Rovers, meets the 1st Thursday evening of each month.
