What We’re About
We desire that by the time our FBC Preschoolers turn five they will know that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Each Sunday & Wednesday our Preschoolers engage in activities that help them learn these basic truths:
- Make it Fun. Interactive fun activities that introduce the key truths and build community.
- Make it Stick. Incorporate activities that are active, crafty and sometimes delicious.
- Make it Real. An opportunity for kids to share stories and for their leaders to reinforce Bible truths.
A preschooler’s spiritual growth doesn’t stop when they leave the classroom. Parents, you are ultimately responsible for your child’s spiritual development. We want to partner with you to help you succeed in that role.
First Baptist Children’s Ministry desire to partner with parents in reaching, teaching and building kids of real faith and character that lasts. Children are encouraged to walk in their faith and grow in serving others at home, in their community and beyond. Through a safe and nurturing environment, loving volunteers connect with kids through our choir and missions programs on Wednesday night and our Sunday morning programs. Our ministry is designed for children, from kindergarten through fifth grade. In order to ensure the safety of your child while with us, we ask that you help us by observing some important guidelines developed with your child’s safety and happiness in mind.
The mission of the children’s ministry is to create a loving and caring environment where elementary children can receive the gospel and learn Biblical truth.
It is the goal of First Baptist Church to provide a safe environment for the physical and emotional well being of all children participating in church activities. The church’s goal is to inform volunteers and enforce policies to ensure that all children are safe and well protected while attending scheduled activities.
In reaching our goal, we create a ministry that is:
Loving and welcoming to children
Presented in a safe and clean environment
Devoted to teaching children about Jesus with story, songs, activities, love, and care.
We desire to:
Equip each child with basic truths of the Christian faith.
Share the gospel with each child to encourage personal salvation.
