On behalf of the music ministry at First Baptist, we are so glad that you are taking a look at our page.  Our church supports a full music ministry.  We have a place for everyone from the age of four-years-old on up.  Whether you sing, ring handbells or play an instrument (everything from guitar to an orchestral one), there’s an opportunity for you to use your talents here.  Click on the individual  tab labels to see more specific details.  And, in the meantime, keep making melody in your heart to the Lord.

There are three choirs for children.  Pre-K and Kindergarten children are in Prelude Choir.  First, second and third graders are in Music Makers Choir.  Fourth and fifth graders are in Young Musicians Choir.  At an age appropriate level, each group learns:  basic musical concepts through a variety of creative activities, about their singing voice, songs for use in worship and special occasions and how God works in their lives.  We are as much about each child’s spiritual development as we are about music.

Our choirs meet on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00.
